Evaluating what life is all about, it all comes to understandning the role of the planet earth rotating all along on its axis and around the sun with a number of planets interrrelated by the gravitational forces. The life systems that thrive on the earth inhale air, absorb water and elements for embryonic plants to germinate in warm soil and photosynthesize all along. These earthly species, spend a minimal fraction of the time in the history of the earth and time to prey to survive. Each unique specie utlimately disintegrates into the minute particles of material earth.
Whatever may the earth ask of the living beings and what may the living beings ask of their host planet?
A growing majority of the humans live in cities and towns and communes spending time - asking for quality time.

So what is quality time and not only doing time, as when the politicians campaign for votes?
Humans are expected to run their own lives. Politicians have a desire to run the lives of not only the humans but also the animals and the plants. When the humans succeed in running their own lives, the politicians position themselves for jobs to make their living in an empty shell and a framework of policies.
It is an emotional drive, of getting carried away by feelings and passion, for individuals to desire to be decisive and take decisions for the leadership to announce and make public. As also in being functional in the method of decision making as in that matter of prestige, of rage or sympathy, perhaps not for having to carry it out but for the sake of authority and esteem and reputation.
As they do gradually, even politicians, discover the earth below their own feet to see that time flies, so to speak, and ending up seeking that quality time they have been promising the citizens at the price of tax reductions to compensate for all that quality time which the citizens have spent to make payment for the state consumption.
It must be in that equation to define benefit plans to guarantee a certain payout at retirement. As it depends on the premiums paid and the performance of investments in the various options at hand. To provide the citizens with a source of income for quality time, when they no longer have a regular income from employment, is not only a comfort for lacking a job; but also an acknowledgement of being a part of an organised civilisation. To calculate the “costs” for a defined contribution plan is a minor problem, but to calculate the yield for a beneficiary is quite impossible from a defined contribution plan.
Just as whatever the politicians may know about how and what to talk about, they will agree that promises are easy to make but not just as easy to fullfill.
Officially they will not consider many of the transfers to the government as taxes. Neither will they wish or admit, that they are bribes or extort money from blackmail or grand theft nor money for laundering in the states distillation apparatus to make payments from predefined benefit plans.

Teorins största utmaning är förmodligen att förklara hur relativt enkla organiska byggstenar polymeriserats till de mer komplexa strukturer som kunnat bilda den första cellen. Levande är en cell med långsam förbränning utan synliga lågor som kallas metabolism där födan via en rad reaktioner slutar i huvudsakligen koldioxid och vatten.
